**August Opportunities**

CP of Rochester – Pool volunteer needed from 2:30-6PM on Tues/Thurs starting August 20th. Volunteer will work with Physical Therapist in an aquatics program helping with the hydraulic lift.

Pittsford Food Cupboard - Recyclable shopping bags (new and gently used) are needed for the clients at the Cupboard. The Cupboard provides emergency and supplemental needs in an environmentally responsible way to the growing numbers of local clients. Up to 200 families are served each month.

Jewish Family Service — Student volunteers needed to visit elderly

clients in their homes; time/day to be determined by your schedule. Other volunteer opportunities are available.

After School Tutoring Partners - Mondays –Fridays from 2:30-5PM

Kid’s Café - Monday through Friday 4:30-6:00 PM – Serving and clean up.

Sunday Celebration (for groups)– 4:30 – 5:30 PM – Help prepare, serve and clean up dinner for 80 people.

Saint’s Place – Volunteers needed for tutoring program on Wednesday evenings at St Boniface Church on Gregory St 5-6PM and on Thursday evenings at the Greek Church of the Holy Spirit on South Avenue – 5-6PM. 

Other volunteer opportunities are available at 46 S Main St in Pittsford ( sorting and organizing donations). New clothing closet is located at St John’s of Rochester in Fairport and volunteers are needed to sort, organize, and assist refugees in selections.

**Pittsford Food Cupboard — Adopt a Shelf

Any club, team, organization, business, neighborhood, etc.can Adopt a Shelf to help support the needs of the Cupboard. The Cupboard needs: Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels, canned fruits/vegetables, canned meats (other than tuna), pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, hot/cold cereal and hearty soups.
