General PTSA Information

Jeff Road PTSA provides a great way for you to be involved with your child’s school experience and to learn more about Jeff Road’s philosophies and goals.  At Jeff Road we pride ourselves on our strong sense of community. 

The PTSA at Jefferson Road Elementary School strives to:

·         Provide quality programs to enrich the school experience for all Jefferson Road Elementary School students.

·         Involve all interested parents in their child's school experience.

·         Offer effective representation of the ideas and concerns of parents.

·         Function as a resource of learning and support for parents.

The PTSA meetings are a wonderful way to hear about the programs we are involved in and also a great way to meet new people. You do not have to be a PTSA board member to attend a meeting. It is an excellent opportunity for you to express your views and ideas. Jeff Road’s principal, Carole Schwab, joins us at every meeting and always provides us with an informative update on school programs and goals.

Our meetings are open to everyone, and we love to see new faces! Younger siblings are always welcome, and refreshments are served. PTSA meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month. Morning meetings start at 9:30am in the cafeteria and at 6:30pm in the library for the evening meetings. The*2009-2010 schedule* is listed below.
