Jefferson Road PTSA meeting minutes for January 12, 2010 All meeting minutes are available at the Pittsford PTSA website along with other information that you may find useful. The link is: www.pittsfordptsa.net CHECK IT OUT!!! Attendance: Jen DesRosiers, Linnea Knoerzer, Carol Schwab, Jill Adams, Samantha Holvey, Karoline Trojian. Principal’s Report: Students getting ready for upcoming Orchestra & Chorus Concert Students and teachers working on their goals and targets Students continue to work hard on math facts Budget 5% department decrease, reassured that JR programs will be OK Illness report: Low absentees, no significant illnesses going around school Transition from winter break to back to school went well. Only complaint were some students were tired on Monday, but all bounced back quickly. Committee Reports: District PTSA Meeting, January 26. Jill Adams is unable to attend; she needs a volunteer to stand in for her. If interested, please email her ASAP and let her know. Hospitality: Patricia Damon needs someone to bring refreshments to the February JR PTSA meeting. If you are interested, please contact Patricia @ pepper@rochester.rr.com 5th Grade Yearbook: Jamie Latini is moving, she needs volunteers to help assist with production of yearbook. Junior Great Books: A five-week program for 4th & 5th grade students. The program consists of four weeks of short stories being read to the students, the fifth and final week there will be Junior Great Books “Party” In order for students to participate in this program they will need to sign up, and arrive to school early.
