Pittsford PTSA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee continues its “Podcast Club” discussions based on the Seeing White by Scene On Radio Seeing White podcast. This discussion is for parents, guardians, teachers, administrators, etc. of elementary-age students in the Pittsford Central School District. All community members are welcome. Please feel free to invite anyone you'd like who fits into this category.
The Seeing White podcast series by Scene On Radio addresses the origin of "whiteness" and how the development of race is tied to racism.
Our focus for this discussion is Episodes 5, 9, 12. Episodes discussed in Sessions 1 and 2 were 1-4, 6-8, and 11 and if you’d like to go back and listen to those as well (but it's not necessary!).
