Hosting a District PTSA Meeting
Information for Building Chairs:
Reserve the facility in advance using the PCSD Facility Usage Request Form
Review the Building Usage Regulations
Request use of an overhead projector
Arrange for light refreshments
The chair or vice chair should attend the meeting
Arrange for a representative to attend if the chair or vice chair is not available
Share the district meeting dates with building volunteers and parents
District PTSA Meetings
Everyone in the Pittsford School District is welcome to attend District PTSA Meetings. All meetings are held on a Wednesday and last 90 minutes unless otherwise noted. View the District Meeting & Event Schedule on the home page for meeting dates, times and locations.

The District PTSA Budget is discussed at District PTSA meetings and must be approved by a member vote. Budgets are posted below in Related Files.

PSCD has very specific requirements and restrictions regarding fundraising in the schools. Most of these regulations are based on New York Code of Rules and Regulations and apply to all public schools within NYS.
Review the fundraising policies BEFORE initiating any fundraising. Approval by the Superintendent's Office is required for all fundraising.
PTSA Policies & Insurance
PTSA is governed by the Unit Bylaws adopted by the Pittsford PTSA Membership and approved by NYS PTA on 11/13/2019. They are valid until 1/1/2023.
